Up for grabs is my brothers 1969 Mustang Convertible. This car is REALLY nice for a driver/weekend cruiser. If you want a nice driver, and excellent start to a full restore this car is for you. The starting price on this car is VERY low for a car this nice and as the pics will show there is VERY little work to be done to get this car to immaculate shape. All the trim pieces are there, and some show signs of wear like little scratches in the aluminum, but that is cosmetic and can be easily fixed. The engine is a 351 windsor, and starts and runs like a champ. This auction is set at NO RESERVE and will sell with ONE bid. Also NO overseas buyers please. A fellow eBayer sent me some information on this car today as well Rare bird! Of the 14,000 convertibles built in '69, Kevin Marti's book 'Mustang...By The Numbers' claims this is only 1 of 1681 built, featuring the 351-auto(Hcode/Xtrans). So there were ONLY 1681 of these built, and probably less than half survived. I don't know how to check, but I'm sure you Mustang guys know how. Also noticed today that the weatherstripping for the door glass (the ones on the A-pillars) will need to be replaced as well. There is a COMPLETE weatherstripping kit on eBay right now for $239. It has EVERY piece of weatherstripping for the car including the convertible 5 piece top set.
