Up for auction is this stylish and comfortable 1997 Lincoln Town Car 120" Super-stretch Limousine!!! I'm selling this limousine as part of the "Oregon Trail Sale" of all my vehicle toys...so my loss is your gain! Note: winning bidder must complete sale and pickup this limo before May 1, 2011, as I'll be leaving Virginia on that day to start the next chapter of my life in Portland, Oregon. This limo features a low-mileage original engine that has been well maintained throughout the life of the car and still runs like a top today. Plus, with room for ten, you can bring all your friends along and be the envy of the party. While this limo runs fantastically, there are a few of the optional features that no longer work. The a/c in this car blows only cool air, not cold, so the a/c is not functioning properly and needs repair. (Fortunately, however, the very dark limo tinting works well to shade the rear compartment from the sun, helping to keep it cool.) The black vinyl top is in good shape, but the limo needs repainting; as you can tell from the photos, the paint is peeling & cracking in places. Also, there is a slight dent in the rear right quarter panel behind the right rear tire. The cruise control doesn't work either but should be reparable if that is important to you. I've kept up on all the maintenance since I bought this classic beauty some years ago. Some of the work I've had done on this car includes replacing the entire exhaust, replacing all new bushings on the front suspension, installing all new brakes, replacing all the older brake lines, and installing new belts and radiator hoses as well as a new battery. This car has a new Virginia safety inspection sticker, valid through April 2012. This limo also features all the extras you'd expect from a Lincoln Town Car, including power brakes, power steering, power windows, power driver's seat, power mirrors, automatic climate control (sans a/c), digital speedometer/dashboard, and automatic transmission with low mileage. This car drives and shifts like a dream, and it rides even better! The Kelly Blue Book value on a 1997 Lincoln Town Car--without the custom stretch conversion--is around $5K.
