1994 Suzuki RM

This auction is for a 94 rm250 2 stroke motocross bike. Please read full description and ask any questions before bidding. This was a good running bike and the past fall it had power valves repaired from being worn, new rings, crank bearing and seals checked, new fenders, new radiator shrouds, new side panels, new handlebars, new levers, new grips and new shifter. The bike has a fmf fatty pipe with no dents, front tire has 90 percent tread left and rear tire has 60 percent tread left. The cylinder has bean sleeved so it can be rebuilt without having cylinder replated. The bike was started and ran maybe 20 minutes before storing and ready for 2011 spring. During winter I re-damaged right knee and am unable to kick bike with out pain but tried a few times and it fired up but cut off so I am sure the fuel needs to be drained and carburetor cleaned do to leaving fuel in it over winter. I bought an electric start trail bike so am letting the rm go. Things that will need to be done before riding is drain fuel/ clean carb and outer clutch cover drips oil but not cracked. The things for future repair is the left fork seal has an oil leak but not major, the chain has surface rust and a few stif spots but all else is in good condition. This bike has strong compression and with new rings it will need a little break in time before running wide open. The winning bidder will expect to drain fuel, clean carb and fix clutch cover leak but motor is strong and transmission shifts fine so it will not be able to be test ridden. I believe 93-95 were the same bikes which make parts readily available for any future repairs. This bike is very similar to CR250 , KX250 , YZ250 , SX250 etc. The new parts purchased and repairs placed on bike total over $890 so someone may simply want to purchase to up grade there current rm or have complete nice spare parts either way I only want to recover the cost of my new parts.
