Up for auction is a rare 1995 318ti. I'm proud to say that this vehicle is 100% factory original with no aftermarket parts. It is rare to find a TI in this condition in a 5- speed. They are sometimes listed on ebay but are usually packed full of aftermarket parts etc. This was my commuting car ~50 miles all highway round trip per day to the train station. The car runs great... oil and maintenance has been performed religiously on this car. It is extremely clean inside and out. There are some minor scratches as you would expect on an 16yr old car and there are no rust issues. There is also a BMW CD changer installed in the car. Although there are no known critical mechanical issues with the car, there are a couple things that I wanted to list to be 100% honest: - Passenger window is off the track. The motor is fine but you will need to have it put back on the track before you can roll it down- The hatchback (shock?) that holds the hatchback door up is worn and really should be replaced. In the colder weather it will not hold the door up.- The spring to move the passenger seat forward to access be back seat needs to be replaced. You can still move the seat forward to let passengers in the back seat, but it's not optimal. The drivers seat- back seat access works fine. - Drivers seat is showing some wear on the left shoulder (see picture) Other than that... what you see is what you get. On Mar-02-11 at 16:24:00 PST, seller added the following information: Update: This 318TI was due for the NYS March (yesterday) so it is newly inspected. The mechanic advised that the front brakes were wearing down so I had him replace the front brake pads. So… another nice extra that the winning bidder won’t have to worry about with this car.
