Hello,You are looking at my 1967 Mercedes 230sl euro spec car (I was told that this car has been owned by the same family since the early 70's), white with red interior showing 50,447 kilometers = 31,346 miles, that is in wonderful, original, well maintained condition. The paint and body (no rust) is in very good condition with a wonderful shine. The interior is in very nice clean condition, with no rips or tears. The wood is average and has not been refinished. I do not have the glove box key, it has been locked for many years, maybe Hoffa is inside? . Mechanically the car is in good condition, The engine is very good, smooth, and does not smoke or leak, and runs very cool. The manual transmission is smooth but pops out of forth gear at times, all you have to do is slip it back in, or rest your hand on it and it will not pop out, it has been doing this for many years, and can be driven as is without any issues. The wheels, caps (beauty ring has curb rash) and tires are in very good condition, and drives very smooth at 90mph. All of the chrome and trim is in wonderful condition. The top needs a rear window and some repairs (I do not have the hard top) It also has spare tire and jack. The brakes are in good condition (the emergency brake cable is loose, Adjustment?) and stops very well. The stainless exhaust is new at a cost of $1,900.00. The glass is good with a slight scratch on the windshield. This Mercedes is a very nice presentable driver. This is a 230sl, the prior owner who has had it since the early 70's, put 280sl badges on it back in the day. .
