Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. It's been my daily driver for five years and has always had oil changes at 3K miles. The front air struts were replaced two years ago along with ball joints and tie rod ends. The rear shocks were also replaced at that time. The body and underbody/frame have no rust. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts well. It has a set of brand new snow tires on it, so you're all set for next winter. The HID headlights and neon tail light are in good working order. There's a decent Kenwood head unit that comes with it. Now for the bad (there's a bunch): It needs a new starter. I bought the starter a few months ago and it will come with the car (genuine Motorcraft starter for $200 or something). I haven't replaced it because I'm lazy and didn't have the time, and if you keep clicking the car over, by 5 times it will still start. Something in the front passenger side knocks when you hit bumps, it's probably a worn end link or something, I haven't had a chance to look at it. The A/C doesn't work, might need to be charged. The power driver seat stopped working a few months ago. None of the buttons on the steering wheel work (horn, cruise control), and sometimes the air bag warning light blinks. A mechanic told me this has to do with some relay in the steering column... another eBay member said all of these problems are caused by the clock spring in the steering column. I don't know for sure but I wanted to mention it here.. The leather seats are in good condition but the carpet is pretty worn. The wheels are peeling and look crappy. The hood looks like it was repainted at some point years ago, you can tell because it's kinda dull compared to the rest of the car. If you have any questions please email me. If you're out of town, please make your own arrangements to pick up the car, I can't assist with shipping or delivery. Thanks! *** This is a relist of the Mark because of a non-paying bidder. If you do not have a feedback count of at least 10 please contact me BEFORE bidding. NO NEW EBAY MEMBERS. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.
