Vehicle Detail
Very rare, and very near perfect! This bike was $13995 when new in 1995! If you are familiar with the Super III, you know what it is. If not here is a brief discription of the difference between the Super III, and a standard Daytona. Front brakes carved from billet by Alcon. "Works" quality carbon fiber everywhere by Rawlings. 12 to 1 pistons instead of 10.6. Special cam and cylinder head in the factory Cosworth modified engine. Motorcyclist magazine says "The Super III is primarily, like all of Englands's finer things, exclusive with a very capital "E." Bimiota will probably make more SB6s. Honda will make more NR750s, and we'll probably all end up buying more B-2 bombers." This bike is in near perfect condition. The only flaw at all is a slight ding in the trim ring on the right exhaust canister (no one seems to notice but me, but it's there) Just serviced. Totally original and runs perfect. New battery. I truly believe this is one of the, if not the, nicest Super IIIs in existence. It is my understanding that only approximately 125 of these were imported in 2005 and about that same number in 2006. Truly a very, very collectible bike that will only appreciate in value. 2010/2011 comprehensive vintage motorcycle price guide shows value at 1500,3000,4500,7500,10500,13500. My reserve is nowhere near what this bike is worth. This auction will run full term. I will not end early. Bid to win. You are getting a fabulous bike! Bike comes with clear title, both keys, owners manual, and Motorcyclist magazine. Please note the bike now has 8024 miles. I had to take it for one more ride. On Apr-19-11 at 15:09:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note: It was brought to my attention that I made an error in the import dates: It was of course 1995 and 1996. Sorry
