YOU ARE BIDDING ON one USED 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, owned by Commonwealth of Kentucky, disposing of as surplus property. Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, lined tailgate, V8, lots of power! I drove this vehicle today before listing. It is very clean, tight driving vehicle and low mileage for the year. 104,640 mi. This is Commonwealth of Kentucky owned vehicle & has received regular maintenance. It drove fine, brakes seemed little soft, pickup and idle are good. It appears to shift good. Here are defects that i noticed, there may be more, Rust in truck bed, rust along door bottom & tire wells, some rust has been painted over with white & same for body, dings, dents, scratches inside bed, & some on body,. the driver side front tire well has dent/rust painted over--see photos. The truck looks good. Interior, the dash has cracks in plastic all across it, but not caved in---inside ceiling cover is sagging & will need replaced. Drivers seat has tears, nice cup holders, middle business-size comparment, folds up for 3 persons to ride. The heater/AC seem to work fine; cold AC. Has cassette player/radio that has good sound. This vehicle has Cruise Control thumb controls on comfortable Tilt Steering Wheel, Windows are manual. Tires look nearly new on rearsee photos front have little wear see photo, I am no good estimating tread. See photos & ask questions PRIOR to bidding. However most items including knives, hand tools, cameras & generally items weighing less than 7.5 pounds can ship USPS. Combined shipping “total weight” must fall within this limit. Be sure to check the listing to assure your shipping options. We DO ship to P.O. Boxes on items that qualify, however we reserve the right to demand a street address for shipment. We also reserve the right to switch to UPS from USPS on “combined shipping,” if the accumulated items, by our exclusive determination, preclude USPS “flat rate shipping.” Items that offer shipping options of USPS & UPS, may not necessarily qualify for USPS. We will ship to our service men/women APO & similar addresses due to the Commonwealth’s strong support for our dedicated military personnel. Most often the listings will allow a choice of shippers between US Postal Service & UPS. Those who wish to maintain UPS for the “Guaranteed Shipping” that comes with UPS verses “insurance” available with USPS, has the option within the listing to choose. We can now ship to AK, HI & VI without a surcharge if you choose USPS. If you choose UPS there is $30 surcharge added for these locations. We do offer “combined shipping,” over 5 day shopping period or up to 20 items, whichever occurs first to ease the cost of shipping for prompt payers. We reserve the right to use UPS shipping for these dedicated purchasers. Failure to pay an invoice at the end of the 5 day shopping period constitutes “Auction Default,” (see Section 5 below) with all the penalties and consequences thereof, including blocking bidder. AUCTION DEFAULT: A winning bidder is in breach of contract with the Commonwealth of Kentucky if he/she does not pay for the item or retrieve the item within the Terms & Conditions herein.
