I was in outside sales and just received a promotion. This car is the perfect salesman's car. Diesels run FOREVER and this one has been bulletproof for me (one of my co-workers had the same car in his family to 500,000 miles, another still drives his and has around 400k). For a diesel, this thing is fast, with great torque on the highway. This is a California car--please notice the California plates. I just moved to Chicago. I'm still driving it until the auction is over. Car currently has 247556 miles on it, but should be just over 248,000 by middle of next week. Car has been inspected by my mechanic. I put in new air filters and a new duovalve about 1,000 miles ago. I am having an oil change and service done before you pick the car up. I'm also putting two new tires on it, the other two have about 33% of the tread life left. I was in a minor accident about two months ago--I was hit from the side, damaging the front driver fender. The estimate came to $712 to replace the panel, but I didn't really think it too noticeable, so I haven't bothered with it (pulled most of the dent out by hand, and the bumper can easily be buffed). There is also a scrape on the back door, passenger side toward the bottom--I scraped it on a very high curb about a year ago. I invested in aftermarket massaging / heated / ventilated driver seat for it 9 months ago, and it has a custom $2,000 speaker system plus a Kenwood Navigation touchscreen that you can upload custom Points of Interest into. It has bluetooth, but I cannot seem to get my phone to work correctly with it (people on the other end cannot hear me, but I can clearly hear them--maybe it needs a new microphone?). Ipod connection in console, DVD playback, etc. This vehicle will be listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I would love to get rid of this car quickly, because I've already put money down on my new car. I will entertain offers, but please don't low-ball me--this is still a great car that runs smooth--I know it will sell for market price.
