This viper red dune buggy is on a 1963 vw frame powered by a 1970 vw 1600 motor. I bought this motor from a friends father. I was told he had done the motor completely over from top to bottom a few years back and its been sitting in his garage for years. When i picked the motor up it looked like it had been sitting for years. Well alot of cleaning an oil change and a tune up this beast fired rite up and this motor runs great i'm very happy to get a good strong running motor. This dune buggy has fresh paint and all new brakes and wheel cylinders. The floors are diamond plated and the to front seats are new. The seats slide back and forth and also the to seats recline. All new gauges in the dash areas speedo, oil pressure, volt meter, vacuum ,c.d. player and a new fuel gauge which sticks once in a while. New head lights and new lights on the roll bar. that has an on/off switch on the dash. The front tires a new with no miles on them, mounted on aluminum rims. The rear tires are mounted on aluminum rims. The rear tires are also brand new. So you have new tires front and rear with no miles on them. The sides of the dune buggy are diamond plated, and also has diamond plate running boards, for cosmitic looks olny and can be used for solid running boards if u want to brace them up. This buggy has to much to list it looks great and runs as good as it looks. It has a king pin front end, i would have the front end lined up at a vw place its very close but it should be done so you don't ruin the front tires.The seat belts are 4 point racing belts 3 inches wide.
