THE SIDE CREASE HIT THE DRIVERS REAR DOOR DOGLEG SLIGHTLY AND THAT IS ALL THAT WAS FOUND. THIS WAS OUTER SKIN DAMAGE ONLY AND WITH THE NEW DOORS INSTALLED, THERE IS ONLY THE DOGLEG SHOWING SIGNS OF THE VERY OLD REPAIRS. THE UNDERCARRIAGE & FRAME IS GREAT, FLOORS, BRACES ARE GREAT. TRUNK AREA IS GOOD AND HAS A FEW WEAK PIN HOLE SPOTS, BUT NOT BAD FOR '59 IMPALA. THERE ARE SOME PIN HOLE ISOLATED RUST OUTS, (COMMON LOWER SIDE HEADLIGHT AREA) BUT NOT A SERIOUS ISSUE EITHER FOR A NORMAL IMPALA BODY RESTORATION. FRONT DRIVERS FENDER HAS SOME DINGS BUT SHOULD STAIGHTEN OUT OK AS IT IS SOLID. THIS WILL BE A GREAT CAR RESTORED AND BRING TOP DOLLAR WHEN DONE FOR SURE. SPORT SEDANS ARE RARE AND HAVE THE 2 DOOR SPORT COUPE AND 2 DOOR CONVERTIBLE '59 FRONT WINDSHIELD HEIGHT, NOT LIKE ALL OTHER '59 SEDANS, OR WAGONS, THAT SIT 4 INCHES HIGHER.
