For sale is a 65 Mercury Comet Cyclone survivor. The car carries all the badging and documentation of a real true Cyclone. The car is surprisingly straight and well preseved for it's age. The odometer says 59,000 and after looking at the car closely there is a possiblity that this could be the correct mileage, BUT, I cannot verify that fact. It is missing the console and the correct tach. There is some rust (blisters) over the right rear wheelwell and there are a couple of holes in the rear bottom quarter the size pencil. They have been covered up with seam sealer and undercoating to slow the rust. The floor has had the pans replaced on the right front, but it was not a professional job. It is certainly good for a driver and will not leak. The car has been painted the original color in base/clear, but some of the clear on the top of the car is pealing off. Now for the good stuff. The car has what appears to be the original engine becasue the the ID tag was still on the intake manifold. The original Autolite 4100 carb has been replaced with a Holley. The brakes are good, most of the front suspension has been recently replaced, and like new tires. The seats and headliner are very good and has the correct Cyclone medalions front and back.
