I have imported a container of 6 classic Minis from New Zealand. New Zealand Minis do not have the rust that others do and this one is no different. Yes it looks rough, but it does not have the cancerous rust that most classic Minis do. This car is true to 1972. It is a Mustard yellow Mini complete with power 70's stripes, accented with white carpet and baby Blue interior. My intention on importing these cars is to fix them up and sell them, but this car is just too good to fix up. What I mean by that is I can't bring myself to change this car. I have driven it about 400 miles with no issues and repainting or reupholstering the car would almost be a crime to the Underdog, that is the car's name. Please do not get me wrong, this car looks rough, but it more than makes up for that in character. It has the 1000cc engine, starts right up the first time, all the lights work, brakes and clutch work as they should, and it will cruise on the Interstate at 80 MPH no problem. It gets about 32 MPG but only has a 5 gallon tank. There are many imperfections in the paint on the left side where the paint blistered and flaked off. I am confident you could fly into Nashville and drive it anywhere, if you are the adventurous type.
