I purchased this bike in October of 2010 with a little over 800 miles on it and have used it to explore, learn, and commute. It recieved a new maintainence-free battery at that time and was otherwise perfect. The 2005 model year features the new fuel tank badge and was the last cosmetic change of the bike until its recent end of production. I am proud to say I have not dropped or damaged this bike during my ownership, and that holds true for the 2 owners before me. The motorcycle looks and handles as a bigger bike, that is to say with confidence and stability. This motorbike has plenty of legroom and power to make it feel confident in heavy traffic, even with heavier/taller riders. The handling is a joy, and with the adjustable rear pre-load the suspension is not afraid of spirited input. The condition is wonderful, and denotes a younger bike than the model year would indicate. The front fender is scratched in many places, but all are minor and do not detract from the bikes brilliant apperance. The gas mileage is superb, and I have consistantly measured 70MPG since I began ownership. This bike has never let me down, and I have always given it the upkeep that it needed. I changed the oil after purchase, at 2500 miles, and 4200 miles. I have changed the spark plug, brake fluid, lubricated cables, and tightend the chain to specification at 4000miles. This bike is a pleasure to own, and I sell it inspired to seek great adventures on my next bike. Extras: This bike came with a sissy bar, an pricy OEM Suzuki accessory. I removed it for aesthetic reasons, and it has sat in my garage and is thus in perfect condition.
