Vehicle Detail
This is my 1952 Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe. The car runs and drives good and starts up and idles on the first bump of the key every time. The car has a straight six with a three on the tree and has been converted over to a 12v system also. The odometer reads 23,XXX miles and the title says 22,XXX but I have no idea whether that is true mailage or if it is actually 123,XXX miles. The interior is decent. Seats need redone and the clock that is supposed to be on top of the dash has a broken bezel. I still have all the pieces to put it back together and the clock still actually works when you wind it up. The door panels all look pretty good along with the paint on the dash The seats have mexican blankets over them now so they don't look too bad. I also have the original radio in the trunk. I just rebuilt the brake master cylinder and bled all the brakes about two months ago and now they work perfect. All of the lights work except the brake lights, but I do have a brand new stop light switch but haven't had time to install it yet. The steering on the car is a little sloppy but it is almost 60 years old too. This car is not a show car by any means. It would make an awesome everyday cruiser just the way it is, drive it wherever and not worry about getting nicked or scratched or it would also be a nice start for somebody wanting to build something too. There is some rust in the car but nothing major. There are a couple of small holes in the trunk pan under the spare tire and the drivers floor board has had fiberglass resin spread over top of the metal for strength I guess? I have new front and rear windshield weather stripping that needs installed and I have new front marker light lenses that need installed. The car could use a tune-up and some tires but it's still drivable the way it sits. I also have a S-10 frame that could be included with the sale if buyer is interested. Great for a frame swap to update the brakes, steering, rear-end, ect, ect... Just ask if you have questions I check my email almost everyday. Thanks for looking. On Mar-29-11 at 14:54:11 PDT, seller added the following information:I was told when I bought the cat that the engine was out of a 1959. I can't see all the casting numbers on the block to confirm this, that's just what I was told. I also have an oil bath breather that looks complete sitting in the trunk. I have never installed it nor have I really looked at it in great detail, but from what I can tell, it's all there.
