Vehicle Detail

Solid 1991 Mustang GT project DESCRIPTION: I have put this car up for sale because I am building a new house. I had intentions of completely going through it and making it a Fox Mustang of my dreams. The car was in running condition when I bought it but was in need of a new radiator along with some other items. The car is extremely solid with no rust issues. That is why I bought it to restore and mod. The car has some issues that need attention. The paint looks decent in the pics but up close there are some issues. The bumper covers need attention and there are a few small door dings on the car. The cowl has damage where the hood flew up and bent the cowl panel. That is the only damage on the car. All the glass is in great shape with no scratches and the tint is in good shape. The interior is in average condition and could go without restoring. The seat fabric just needs some cleaning. The seats have no tears in them and they are still somewhat supportive. The front bucket seats have the desirable leg supports that pull out and both seats have power lumbar support. The console needs a new cigarette lighter cover (as usual). The rear seats are in good shape and the hatch area carpet is faded but decent with no holes or tears. The rims and tires are in good shape. The brakes are great and the E-Brake is in good working condition. The transmission shifts smoothly with no issues or signs of syncros wearing out. As evidenced in the pictures, I have cleaned up and repainted the engine compartment black. I have done my best to accurately describe the car. Please feel free to ask questions. I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking this car is something it is not. Below is a list of more exact mods and items on the car. Engine: Stock 302 with forged pistons and rods Lunati camshaft #51027LUN specs: RPM range 2K-6K, Intake duration @ .50 lift 221, Exhaust duration @ .50 lift 223, Lobe seperation 112, intake and exhaust lift .509. The camshaft has a nice lopey idle but is not so extreme that it is a pain to drive in first gear. ARP head bolts Ported stock heads and ported upper and lower intake New ceramic-coated shorty headers Under-drive pulleys New chrome fender-well Cold Air Intake Engine Needs: The engine needs a complete gasket kit, a new radiator, new pushrods, new timing chain cover and new fuel injectors. Once those things are attended to the engine will come to life with a roar and sound awsome. Other items to note: Subframe connectors 5-lug conversion 4.10 rear gears Cobra R hood Chrome Cobra 17 X 9 rims with 245/45 R-17 tires Complete custom X-pipe exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and dumps New hatch struts - yes it stays up on it's own Stock H-pipe included in sale I think I have covered everything. All the parts you need to put the car back together are included and in the hatch are. This car is not driveable or running at this time. You will have to arrange for a transport or haul it back home on a trailer. I believe the purchaser will be pleased with the overeall condition of the car and it would not take much time or money to get it running again. Like I mentioned earlier please feel free to ask questions and I have a clear Missouri title in hand ready to sign over to the new owner. Bid to Win!!
