My father has owned the car since 1969 and I am helping him sell it. The car was originally purchased in San Jose, CA and now is located in Fort Worth, Texas. It has a 390 V8 500CFM 2 Barrel Carb, C6 Automatic Transmission, optional air shocks and towing package. Engine rebuilt at 101000 miles, 17843 miles on rebuild, engine built for unleaded fuel. New Transmission 5 years ago, less than 2000 miles on it. New front end in 2006. New rear leaf springs and air shocks (option on original vehicle). New front shocks. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Bench Seat, Dual Exhaust. We have the original AM radio and it still works. This car runs very well and is mechanically sound. The headliner, carpet and seat were reupholstered in 2005. It would make a very good fixer upper for someone that has the time. Needs: R/L side wheel well chrome, clock does not work, kick panels, head liner moulding (we have it but it has become brittle over the years), drivers mirror cable not working, left side tailgate latch does not lock in place, there is some rust in the spare tire compartment and there is about a 4 inch diameter rust bubble near the left rear fenderwell. There is surface rust on the gas tank, tow bar, and rear end as these were not originally painted. If you have specific requests for pictures, please ask. I'll do my best to get them to you. Deposit: $150.00 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours. Serious bidders only. Negative feedback will be left for and Ebay will be notified of non-paying winners. Payment: Full payment required within 7 days of auction close. Seller may, at seller's discretion, extend to 14 days in the event travel arrangements for inspection or pickup are necessary. Shipping: Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Vehicle will not be shipped until full payment has been received and cleared. On Apr-03-11 at 17:31:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Question was asked about the rust in the spare tire compartment. Answer: “I pulled off the remainder of the floor panel cover and felt around the floor panel and it is very solid front to back. However, at the very back it appears it would need some repair. I don’t think the whole thing would have to be cut out and a new piece of steel welded in but the back 1/4 might require that. I’m not a body guy so I don’t know. I don’t see any other rust, it appears to be contained in the spare tire compartment.” Question about the reserve price: $4900. On Apr-04-11 at 08:43:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Pictures available via email: I have photos of the spare tire compartment that I will email upon request showing the surface rust. Ebay only lets me post 24 pics.On Apr-06-11 at 19:34:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: In 1967 Ford had both power disc and power drum brakes. Which does this have? This vehicle has Power Drum Brakes on all 4 wheels.
