"You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda". OK. Hi There. This is a 1982 Honda Nighthawk 650 c.c. original. Ser. No. JH 2RC0801CM012536 CLEAR TITLE COMES WITH BIKE. 21,210 miles. The guy who owned the bike dropped it and dented up the pipes so he removed them, fogged the cylinders and plugged them He passed away before he got new pipes. It will not take much to get this bike fired up and running. The engine turns over with great compression!! (I removed the stator cover and turned it over with a large socket and wrench.) The bike does have spark. The clutch pulls in and out strong and the bike shifts through the gears when you roll it and shift it. I was going to buy a set of pipes on Ebay, remove and clean the carbs, either clean the tank out (it has old fuel in it), or, just buy a tank on Ebay. The tank has a dent in it too. Looks like it would be a easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing, but, I have seen these tanks readily available on Ebay for very reasonable prices. Then get it running and sell it. I am a Kawasaki freak and really not into Honda's although this bike is really cool!! The tires are very good with no dry rot. The chain is probably going to need to be replaced pretty soon as it has about 3 more notches on the adjustment. The sprockets look very good. This is your chance to get a really good deal on a NightHawk 650. I am selling it now because i just bought a Kawasaki H2 and you know what those sell for. Ouch. The body panels are in very good condition. Under the seat everything is very good, no rust, no corrosion, just a little dusty. This is a very good bike for someone to buy and get running.
