Selling a gargage kept Silver Ford Ranger Supercab XLT 2wd. Low, low miles of under 38,000. I am selling this for my family member who is going through some medical and financial issues. Current owner had company vehicle so not many miles placed on personal truck. Front seat is split bench seat and room for 3 passengers. Rear has two jumper seats for two. NADA IS $10,137. At a dealer for a truck with these miles and excellent condition and all current maintenance they would be selling it for $10k TO 11K plus. Then you have to pay dealer tax which is anywhere from 6 to 8 % depending on what city you buy in. That’s another $600 in dealer tax at 6%. This is a PRIVATE PARTY SALE with no dealer tax. No Rust or body damage on body and looks like a new vehicle with glossy paint. Interior is 99% with a few marks on plastic by cig. lighter and a tiny spot here and there. Again truck is close to like new and in excellent condition inside and out. I am looking with a critical eye and for the truck being a 2002 it has only superficial use marks inside or out. Because my family member needs the money for his medical and living expenses, I am selling this truck and took it to the local Ford Dealer and they did a complete multiple point truck inspection and oil change and they changed the battery, transmission oil power steering oil, and coolant to make this truck 100 % serviced and ready for the next owner. The cost for the services were $588.05. Have the Ford Dealer vehicle inspection sheet for the next owner. The Ford Dealer checked the tires tread life checked out at 7/32 or greater and or ok at this time. Have about another 10,000 miles or about a years worth of driving left on them. Tire size is P225/70RX15. Its on the inspection report. Features on truck- XLT, ABS, AIR CONDITIONING, SLIDING REAR WINDOW, CRUISE CONTROL (aftermarket one but works and looks the same as factory without the dash light), POWER STEERING, TOWING PACKAGE, AM / FM STEREO, CD PLAYER, STEEL WHEELS, DUAL AIR BAGS, CUSTOM ALUMINUM TOPPER. Truck does not, have power windows or locks, they are manual. Also Flex fuel capable but past owners only used gasoline. The aluminum topper has two utility racks on top for light weight use. I called the Custom Topper business out of Tucson, AZ. And they said it can handle up to 250 lbs. It would be great for a Kayak, Canoe, ladder, and etc. Check out the picture with the custom shelf in the back seat. Hand made for storing your stuff when rear bumper seats are not used. The shelf just slides on top grove of seat frames and fits tight in place. Anything the Ford Dealer recommended was done in preparation of this sale. Here are some truck goodies that were added in the past two weeks to attract more potential buyers and get this truck ready for the next owner- -Brand new truck hitch and wire connector. The truck never had a hitch but already had the factory wiring in place. Truck had bumper ball only for hauling light weight items. With a normal frame mounted truck hitch you can pull more weight and makes a truck better truck. Also upgraded the connector for a all weather season type. That way the plug does not get fouled up and stays protected. The wire connector has a 4 way connector that is active and hooked up to the truck. It also has a 7 way plug connector that is not hooked up but ready for the new owner if they wanted to hook it up. - Brand new Westin auxiliary light mounted on rear bumper. It makes hooking up to a trailer at night easier or loading up a jon boat at night or just backing up at night. -Brand new in box four piece set of Weather Tech floor mats. Best floor mats on the market. -Also 4 piece new in box set of window visors. Go on the outside of window. Add a great look and you have the window down a couple inches if it is raining to let air in. I just set up this truck with some great upgrades to appeal to more buyers for this truck sale.
