I am re-listing this car because the previous "buyer" did not want to meet the terms of the auction. I'm a super easy guy to do business with, but to be clear, payment must be made by cash or certified check, as listed in the payment section - money orders, bank wires, etc, will not be accepted. Thank you for looking at what is likely to be one of the nicest, lowest miles (20,878 to be exact!), most original, and most desirable BMW e30 convertibles left in existence! Not only does this 1992 BMW 325i cabriolet have the right miles, and right condition, it comes in a very desirable brilliantrot (German for "bright red") exterior on black interior - one of the most desirable, head-turning color combinations offered for this particular car. Add to that a 5-speed overdrive manual transmission, and the late plastic bumpers (which the convertible didn't receive until '91), and this car would make the perfect cruiser, whether boulevard or mountain road, for you! So what is an "e30", you may ask? Well, technically, it is BMW's internal code used in reference to the '84 to '92 (and even '93 and '94 in rare cases) 3-Series sedans, coupes, and convertibles (and even a few station wagons). But who cares about that? To you and I, the drivers, the maintainers, the loving caretakers, it is so much more! To those who know, the BMW e30 is BMW's second - and best, I might add - generation of 3-Series compact executive cars. It came at a time of great improvements in BMW's manufacturing process, engine development and management, and styling and performance. To those that drive an e30, no other will do - the "driver-centric" interior, with its ever so slightly angled center console, infinitely adjustable heating and cooling system, and no-nonsense instrumentation gives you instant, capable command of your chosen steed. The steadfastly Teutonic, yet curiously sexy (and classy!) profile lingers in your head - I promise, you WILL walk backwards through the parking lot into the store more often than you'd imagine, lustfully gazing at its iconic West German lines. The e30 is the most collectible of all the 3-Series, and has garnered a loyal following 'round the world. Enough with the history lesson, and on to the car at hand, shall we? I don't even know where to begin with this car, as it is the most perfect, most original e30 I have ever had the privilege to own. It was lovingly cared for from brand new in 1992 until 2010 by the same woman (that's right, only 1 previous owner for the last 18 years!) who spared no expense in its upkeep - her boyfriend was a BMW technician who personally maintained it throughout its entire life. This car could be parked in a BMW showroom today, beautiful black top down with nary a single imperfection to hide, distinguishable from a new car only by its timeless body style - I even have the original window sticker to display proudly. This is the ULTIMATE "Sunday" car - but with reliability, economy, and performance suitable of a daily commuter.
