Vehicle Detail
2000 AM General Hummer (yellow), 52500miles, 6.5liter turbo diesel, 4L80E-HD tranny. Buyer responsible for shipping. Well cared for!!! The first year of the "Hummer" name, pre-H1. Great shape. Not a show truck. First, the issues; -Has a nick in one of the rims and a crack in the corner of the hood(fiberglass/composite). -Parnelli Jones 'Dirt Gripz' have never been truly round. Needs new tires that are truly round. PJ's are great below 30 and on the trail! -Sunroofs dont open. The previous owner in Montana glued them shut as they leaked. I pulled them COMPLETELY out and resealed them cleanly. -A/C has been removed. The compressor is still under the hood and lubed but the core has been pulled. I replaced it with a 400% warmer heater unit. I have all the A/C components including the stock center consul. I found the H1's to be COLD and as i live in Alaska this has been a GREAT modification. -Cracked headlight lens. Get new ones at nearly any parts store in a bigger town than Haines, AK. UPGRADES; -800lb+ roof rack from Predator Motors in San Diego -Stage-3 engine kit from Predator(doubles HP/torque, look it up!) -Cooling equalizer from Predator (equalizes engine cylinder temps) -High capacity tranny pan from Predator(more fluid) -New Rotors and disc pads less than 2000miles ago. -Getting New windshield glass right now. (with the heating elements, both sides) -New generation brush guard -Running boards, Strong nice ones!(easy-on and easy-off if you go wheeling) -Momo stearing wheel -Amsoil and Royal Purple synthetic's in ALL gear cases. Greatly improves efficiency and longevity. Even grease! -Rebuilt center consul, improved usable room and heating capacity. Easy to deal with. -Replaced all window switches(found great advise at Flash Offroad . com) -Kinne Electric's Starter Motor. GREAT!!! Kicks the pants off a stock unit. More torque, less Ampres, More RPM= Way easier starts !!! I'm happy to help a buyer with every aspect of the transaction. I live in Haines, Alaska. Considered remote by most standards, I am prepared to; Trailer to any part of Alaska, Barge or Ferry to Washington State. Please contact me with your shipping details and i'll get a quote for you. The real options are with Alaska Marine Lines/Lynden Transport on a barge to Seattle, WA. -or- Alaska State Ferry to Bellingham, WA. Look 'em up online.... Thanks, Dan Wackerman alaskan.energy@gmail.com 907-314-1010 On Apr-04-11 at 09:18:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The A/C core from the rear of the center consul was pulled and replaced with the upgraded heater unit. The front core of the A/C is still intact under the dash. The stock A/C Heater core is included. The system will need two new A/C lines as mine were cut during removal. They are serialized and have part numbers accessible from parts stores.
