1963 CLASSIC FORD THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE Impeccably maintained Sunday driver, always garage kept and covered! Reluctantly selling my beloved "Emily" for economic reasons, otherwise she would remain part of the family. She has been part of my "fleet" since February 2004. Only 5,913 convertibles were produced, quite a limited number, with an original price of $4395. How many have survived? Making it extremely collectible! Please view the pictures but she must be seen in person to truly appreciate her beauty and pristine condition. Great classic 60's styling and turns heads everywhere! Please remember, this is a 48 year old car. I am representing it as accurately as I can based on my knowledge and have tried to give as much information as possible. She is not a 10 but a very nice "20 footer" and priced accordingly. Her VIN number indicates that she is equipped with the more powerful "Z" code engine, the 390 Special V-8 300HP version. The plate shows her color to be "N" - Diamond blue, and the interior to be trim "52" - Medium Blue Metallic/Light Blue metallic She was repainted the same original color at a Ford dealership with DuPont paint just prior to my purchase. The exterior and mechanical condition are excellent, there are only minor interior flaws. The seat upholstery needs to be restitched/repaired but salvageable and the door panels are a little rough. The dashboard is also warped but acceptable. The convertible top does not operate at the present time, I just tried to operate it recently, but it has not been in use since 2004. It has always been stored garaged and covered with the top down. However, it did operate when I purchased her, so I'm hoping it's something minor. The clock and temperature gauge do not operate. The power windows work intermittently, you have to play with the switches, the motors are fine. No refunds, as the car is sold as/is where/is with no warranties expressed or implied in any way or form. Please understand this is a classic car and if you choose to drive it a long distance, I do not warranty anything that may or could happen after sale. I will offer my assistance but arranging with a transport company is the buyers responsibility. Any inspections are to be completed before the end of sale, not afterward. Please no exceptions.
