This is top of the line 2001 VW BUG`` GLX series Hard to find Loaded with every option Auto, 1.8 Turbo , Leather heated seats / Electric Sunroof / Rear Spoiler Factory aluminum wheels , 147000 mils. looks like 40000 clean Interior is nice , it needs a Timing chain Adjuster / head work.. eng cover missing /left outside mirror cover / right front center cap missing. Car Look`s nice... ( sale as is where is ) Must be picked up not running `` .. .. First with the cash gets it ~!!!! ( Title in hand ) On Mar-31-11 at 12:40:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Note : I drove this car to the Mechanic shop where it is now ,The car was running but not idle properly but once you start out it would run smooth and very strong at highway speed , The mechanic took the Cover off the top of the eng, and showed me the part that is bad Some sort of a timing chain tension spring , VW mechanic said these were very common problem on these vehicle's, The part to fix it is about $500 Plus $400 labor , I bought this car for my daughter graduation and did not have time to get it fixed so we bought her another vehicle .
