This is an auction for a nicely restored 1946 Willys CJ2A.The serial number is 76843 and all the correct data tags are still in place. This Jeep has had a frame off restoration and every part of it either has been repaired or replaced. It has a new body tub and fenders ,the frame was sandblasted and painted . The brake system has been completely replaced with new parts. The axels were dissmantled cleaned rebuilt and resealed and painted.The springs and all suspension components were replaced. The transmission and transfercase were dismantled cleaned and rebuilt,resealed, and painted. The engine has also been rebuilt and runs perfect .All fluids have were changed. The starter and generator have been rebuilt as well a complete new cloth covered wireing harness was installed with all new electrical connections and components. It has a new 6 volt battery.The complete exhaust system was replaced. The radiator as well as all hoses are new.The gauges are original to the Jeep as well as the foot pedals and gas pedal. The seat frames were sand blasted and painted new cushions and seat cover were installed.The fuel system including the tank sending unit and lines , fuel pump, carburetor were replaced. It has 5 new 6 ply Firestone 16x6.00 tires the rims were sand blasted and painted.This Jeep was painted in a military Jeep color and does show some wear because it has been used since retoration was completed .It does have one spot were the paint flaked off on the driverside on the top of the wheel well see picks. When I bought the Jeep it did not have the windshield frame or tailgate. I do have a good solid original tailgate that will be included in the auction. It will need to be cleaned and painted. This CJ2A was restored to look original a lot of labor and new parts were purchased to keep it that way and it should make someone a great Jeep. Vehicles of this age were not titled in the state of Vermont . It will be sold with an approved bill of sale from the state of Vermont. A title for this vehicle can be obtained from broadway title company .
