Vehicle Detail
This truck is a 1993 Dodge Dakota. It was owned since new, purchased from Wilde Dodge in Wisconsin in 1993. I have a full service history for the vehicle--it was always well maintained, responsibly driven and stored in a garage. It has no accident damage. It currently has around 126,600 miles (approximate becuase I drive this truck on a daily basis) and has a 3.9 Litre magnum V6 engine producing around 180HP (I can get well over 20mpg). That is coupled to a 4speed with overdrive manual transmission (it is 2 wheel drive and not a 4x4). Included is a class 3 towing receiver/ drawbar. This was used this to tow our camper trailer and occasionally a small boat. It is a great towing and hauling vehicle. Also included is a full bedliner (installed new at the dealer as well as a cap, custom painted to match the truck). The interior shows almost no signs of wear. The exterior has a couple cosmetic flaws, nothing that is serious or even obvious. For example, the rear bumper has some rust around the license plate area, the driver's side door has a small dent near the bottom, the driver's side mirror has a few cracks and a corner of the front air dam is broken off (I slid into a snow pile) The clutch does "chatter" when the engine is running cold which it has done since it was relatively new--this has never been a problem and once the engine warms up, it never chatters and that's the biggest issue with this truck. In summer 2010, the front calipers and brake pads were replaced, the radiator and belts were replaced last year along with the entire exhaust system, I repaired the climate control in December (it works perfectly) The AC works perfectly, the tires are in good condition, one was replaced (new) last Friday. I know its had more recent service, but I can't recall everything--it's in the service history however--I have every paper for this truck. It does have an upgraded Alpine stereo system with a CD player. I do have the origional factory stereo which does not work, but I will include it if you want to have it to preserve origionality. It does have the origional tool-kit, but not the jack because it broke during a flat tire change a few years ago. I am a motivated seller because I don't want to renew the license plates and I currently own more vehicles than I can manage.
