1955 Ford F100 I’ve owned the truck five years. I’m the second owner. I bought the truck from a 92 year old gentleman. He had the truck repainted the original color, engine rebuilt, welded in metal floor bed “several years” before selling. The odometer shows 74K miles. I have no way of knowing what the total miles are on the truck. Bid on truck as mileage unknown; mileage is not known! I have put about 4000 miles on it. I have made trips of over 200 miles in truck with no problems. This is not a show truck. Truck is nice enough and has been used in weddings, as the get away vehicle. Truck has: original 239 cubic inch Y-block V8 engine 3 speed manual transmission on column Manual brakes The running board are not the originals; both are diamond design metal welded over the original brackets The windshield wipers are the original vacuum operated Original straight axle Original steering wheel, horn works Lights, windows and door locks work as they should I have done the following to truck: Added an Auto Air all in one air conditioner/heater (works GREAT) New 15” x 5” wheels on front and spare; new 15” x 8” wheels on rear New (5) tires New brake master cylinder New kingpins New steering box Converted to 12 volt system from 6 volt; which included new bulbs and battery Converted to alternator from generator Added turn signals front and rear Replaced the chrome parts (emblems, exterior door handles, interior door and window handles, rear lights housing, front light housing, hub caps, exterior mirrors) Replaced the dash knobs Added am/fm/CD radio, in overhead console Replaced the sunvisor Replaced the floor mat with original Ford Replaced the original bench seat with bucket seats from a 2004 Ford F150 Built a center console with storage Replaced the windshield Replaced the speedometer cable TERMS OF SALE: The winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end and make a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via Pay Pal. The balance is due no later than 5-days after the auction ends. Methods of payment are: express mail a certified check to me, express a postal money order to me or wire transfer funds to my bank. I will accept Pay Pal for the deposit only. If no contact is made or deposit received within 24 hours, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, or sell it through any means I desire. Sold on Bill of Sale only; Alabama does not have titles for year vechile. The car will not leave my property and possession until all funds have cleared my bank. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. DISCLOSURES: This auction is a legal binding contract between the buyer & seller.
