The previous buyer illegally purchased this vehicle using another person's eBay account. Please don't do that. I have received tons of questions and just wanted to answer the common ones here:- The title is clear and has no liens.- The accident in the history report only resulted in the minor cosmetic damage to the front bumper shown in the photos. I didn't get it fixed since I didn't think it was a big deal. It certainly doesn't affect the ability to drive the vehicle.- Yes, I do require a deposit of $500.- No, I will not end the auction early since I believe the price to be more than fair for this vehicle.- Please do not offer me $50 less than what I am asking: the kelley blue book value for this vehicle is ~$3700 in POOR condition. With no rust and fully loaded, it certainly is worth that! For sale by owner is a 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, 4 door, 2 wheel drive in very good condition. I bought this vehicle in Oklahoma right before going to college in Texas. Being a southern vehicle, it has no rust at all and is in amazing shape. It remained in Texas with me for the school year and has only seen one winter (this winter). Having moved to Boston, I have no need of a SUV in the city and am selling it. This vehicle has a lot of cool features such as the 210 horsepower 4.0L SOHC V6 engine which is great on gas and for towing! It has a power moonroof, a reverse sensing system, sport bucket leather seats, and the Mach Audio System (which means it comes with a nice subwoofer). It has 6-way power seats for the Driver and the Passenger. It has keyless entry with a keyless entry pad on the exterior of the driver's side door. It comes with both keyfobs but only one key.It also has the tow package installed complete with all the wiring and an aftermarket receiver hitch with ball (ready for that boat of yours!). It has a roof rack, trip computer, and fully automatic air and heat. The rear seats both fold down. The engine doesn't burn a drop of oil and has been well maintained after every road trip. I recently replaced the master cylinder and the brakes were checked. The front tires have 50% tread and the rear tires are nearly new with all-season Toyo tires at 95% tread. Vehicle passed inspection in Vermont just a few months ago. I have the original window sticker and order form which came with the SUV. The Temperature/Fan and Cruise Control buttons all still work, of course. Here are the known problems with this vehicle:Several scratches on the paintCosmetic damage to the front bumper coverConsole Lid looks a bit worn and could use a cover or replacement for roughly $50.About a year ago, the oil pressure gauge decided to do a 360 loop and just stay there, but the oil pressure light works just fine.The passenger door lock cannot be unlocked from outside due to an unknown incident. It can be unlocked from the inside and with the keyfobs just fine.The latch on the trunk sticks sometimes.The air conditioning blows really cold but randomly cuts out for 10 minute intervals when it gets really hot outside. It is a 12 year old truck so it has some problems, but it has been well taken care of and its maintenance is up to date! I've done my best to document everything I can about this vehicle, but it is being sold as-is with no warranty.
