Re-listing due to lack of contact by winning bidder. Up for auction is an Original 1970-1/2 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. This rare Firebird has its original Pontiac powered 400 ci 335hp 4-barrel engine, optional TH400 3-speed automatic transmission, and 3.35:1 positraction rearend. The interior, as seen in the pictures, is in exceptional condition and is missing only the radio to be complete. The exterior has its original rust free sheet metal, factory fiberglass twin scooped hood, formula/firebird badging, and correct rally wheels. The car has had only one repaint to freshen up its optional Lucerne Blue paint. The floor pans, frame rails, and trunk are also rust free and in excellent condition. The car is heavily optioned with center console controled power windows and factory A/C to name but a few (see pics of window sticker/build sheet). This John Delorean designed rare survivor (7708 produced) is sold with many pieces of documentation, and has also been documented by the Pontiac Historical Society.
