(continental US only) Up for auction is this one of a kind 1976 Porsche 911SC powered by an upgraded 3.0l H6 Porsche engine (engine # 6400134), matted to a 5-speed manual transmission. This amazing 911 is a true sports coupe, which was ordered without the sunroof from the factory. The absence of a sunroof opening gives the shell superior structural capability. This coupe is in extraordinary condition and was stored in a climate controlled storage for the past eight years! Vehicle features include a $12,000.00 paint job; with the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. All four fender flares are original steel flares, and the spoilers are OEM Porsche. Additionally, the engine has been upgraded to the 3.0l engine, which according to the previous owner, was installed in 2004 and has less than 50k on it. The factory installed 2.7l motor was plagued with problems in the 70’s 930’s and having the 3.0l engine swap is considered the right way to restore these beauties. The 3.0l engine is said to be one of the best 911 engines built, and is referred to as “bullet proof!” The chassis has 90,800 original miles and the title is clean/clear! The exterior body is in excellent condition through and through; 9.5 out of 10! I have not seen a 70’s era 930 with a body like this, unless you’re referring to a collectors car. On the edge of the passenger rear fender flare there’s one small, not too noticeable ding. In addition, the passenger side power mirror does not operate, but these are easily adjustable manually. There are detailed photographs depicting the true condition of the paint. The interior cabin is flawless and features; eight-way power leather seats, *ICE COLD A/C*, Heater, AM/FM Cassette Stereo, Power Windows, and 2 + 2 seating. The original leather dash does show aging, but adds to the character of the vehicle. The 3.0l engine runs strong and the transmission is responsive. The front-end is tight and the vehicle rides and drives like it should, a Porsche! Current services performed (within 1,500 miles); Entire clutch assembly (clutch disk, flywheel, pressure plate, bolts). Oil, fuel and air filters Rear shocks (since photos) Front brakes Heater serviced A/C serviced, Freon charged Rear tires changed (front tires are at 90%, but not matching) Transmission flushed Windshield Wiper motor (water jets do not operate) This 911 is ready to go!
