Vehicle Detail
1991 2D Jeep Wrangler Sport 4 wheel drive, manual 5speed Transmission Runs great!! By the way to answer your question before you ask it---- I am selling because I NEED to get a Jeep 4X4 with an AUTOMATIC transmission!! I am a elderly grandmother and I am just getting to old to push down that clutch!! There is NO RUST that I know of or can see--the body is solid steel (except for the flared shields above the Tires) and sound! I pulled the carpet up and looked under it and the floor has NO RUST---a couple of the rubber plugs (gomets) that go in the (rain) drain holes in the floor are missing. It has roll bar type steps that are solid and sturdy! And the Rear seat removes for extra space. I have NEVER mudded in this jeep-I bought it in Feb/2001 the odometer was 149,073.---it is now 158,959.5 (this mileage will change because I will continue to drive it untill it sells....I have basically used it to help my husband get the cows in and to putt-putt around on the farm. Lock boxes on both sides of rear seat I have the paper work of some of the things that had been done to it BEFORE I got it and in Nov/2007 I had $1600+ worth of work done on it by the JEEP Dealership. The work --consisted of replacement of a chewed up 02 Sensor, They Replaced the fuel pump, cleaned throttle body, a Tune-up, Replaced Distributor cap Rotor and Plugs, replaced air filter, all kinds of gaskets, wires, oil changed & filters, hose forms, washers/nuts, pump kits etc..Fuel induction service, Fuel injectors cleaned, De-carbon intake, throttle body and plate cleaned, cleaned fuel delivery system, Replaced R/R exhaust manifold and replaced Gasket and Parts. There was a RECALL on the park brake pedal assembly so that was fixed! My husband has replaced a few things---New battery cable, battery, transmission fluid ,changed oil---odds & end things but nothing major...starts every time even in cold weather handles well and 4 Wheel drive works great! The MAJOR work that needs to be done on the Jeep, as far as I know, is the Rear Seal on Transfer case needs replaced--it leaks a little transmission fluid--estimated around $350 to $500 parts and labor, more on the lower end of that figure, depending on who does it!---.AND new tires!---Tires are old, but still have good tread, but you will need new tires sooner than later... Has a spare tire that's never been put on or even uncovered or looked at since I've had it-- but it also is old. As you can see by the pictures both front fenders are crumpled/bent a little--there is a few scrapes under the passenger door (see picture). Needs some cosmetic work,---seats upholstered--Holes/rips in both captain seats. .new carpet--- a new top (the one that is on it has 2 dime sized holes, Has 1 hole (baseball size) and a couple smaller (dime size) holes in the soft top.)---the zip-on windows are NO LONGER alive----but I still have the "FRAME WORK" for a New soft top/windows and that frame work will go with the Jeep.-- Minor repairs needed are --- The Gas gauge, Speed odometer, and Radio does NOT work--they did until here recently! I think the Radio's wire that goes to the battery broke into & there is no antenna---I never listened to it anyways so it didn't get fixed...It Has NO air conditioner ---The heater works but is NOT sufficient in winter --at least not for ME!--but I understand the heater output is "normal" for Jeeps! But it didn't have a Hard Top and the Vinyl top was not that warm!! The roll bar's pads/covers need to be cleaned. The license plate cover that goes over the gas tank fill-up area is broken and needs replaced my husband has it bale wired on--:) I have been driving it around a little since it warmed up --- it starts every time even in the cold weather we just had --one just has to pump the gas feed a little--IF it hasn't been driven recently. Sorry, I can Not ship it--- the buyer will have to arrange shipment! If you need more info please feel free to contact me thur E-bay messages and I will do my best to answer your questions...thanks!
