Here is a good 1961 Ford Sunliner that is a very worthwhile project. It has what I was told a later model 390 and an automatic transmission. The engine sounds and runs good, the transmission shifts well also. The structure of this car is real good floors are mostly solid; frame is solid, rocker look good also. The body does have lower rust in the rear quarters that you can see in the pictures probably some other areas that I can’t see but overall it is really good for a convertible. I do have some extra trim with the car. The car also comes with what I believe to be a complete set of new in the box weatherstripping which does include the convertible top pieces. Also included is a new set of sun visors & kick panels. I believe everything listed on the invoice from Dearborn is there and maybe more. There is also an aftermarket radio in the car that was designed to fit in the original opening although it is not installed correctly; someone put the plate on the outside of the dash that should have been installed on the back side. The tires look real good; none of the glass is broken. The interior has been done sometime ago and would work for now but needs restored. This will be a fairly easy restoration project for someone.
