Vehicle Detail

The first year [of just two] for one of the very few rotary bikes ever made commercially. Also the most distinctive looking; Suzuki did away with the cool cylindrical taillight and covered dash and tennis-ball turn signals the second year. Also, many 1975's were altered by dealers. This one is almost entirely original - it still has its decals on it. The handlebars are from a GT750, as the PO liked their height better. However, the originals come with the bike. Also with it is the loose original speedometer, which reads 5473 miles. With all of the good features that Suzuki put on this bike, they left the speedo surface plastic, and it weathered badly. Of course, they knew this and included a nice blue curved cover that flips up when you start the bike, but a guy must remember to close it! So the current speedo says 24505 at this writing, but it is a year-correct replacement from another bike. Doing the math results in a mileage figure of only 6738 miles. Another minor change to the bike is an added fuel filter and shut-off [not visible in the photos] Condition is as shown; there is no indication that the bike was ever down or even tipped over. It could use some minor cleaning and polishing - this bike is ridden occassionally and is currently titled and licensed. Note that the tank paint is still excellent but shows some reflections in the photos. Parts supply for these bikes is excellent. NOTE: the small windshield shown does not come with the bike; it's borrowed from another for winter riding. But, the bike does come with manuals and articles. What have I had to fix on it? I changed an indicator bulb. Bike is a superb rider with a very distinct sound. I need to let this go because of upcoming lack of space - Bike is up for auction with the usual auction conditions: no guarantees nor warranties. Sold as a collectable only. Ask any questions early enough that I can get you an answer quickly. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all arrangements and costs associated with shipping but I will do what I can to meet the shipper and see the bike off safely. You are welcome to pick the bike up in person. There are several nice transport services, many of which require no crate. Ebay usually lists some good options, and I recommend JC Motors as well for bike shipping. Their rates are very reasonable: 800-730-3151. No bogus over-payment schemes or scam attempts please. Reserve set low in case of Ebay mishap.
