Vehicle Detail

1999 Camaro This vehicle is in need of work. It runs and is driven 20 miles daily on a work commute. Though, it is being driven daily it is a small commute and I would not rely on this vehicle for a long duration. Please note the following and understand you are purchasing a used vehicle. The catalytic converter has been cut off (you may not be able to register your vehicle in some states and you will not pass emissions testing). The transmission is starting to slip at hwy speeds (going in to the final gear OD)The rear end whines, but drives well. The AC is hit or miss. It works sometimes and not others. It think it may be in relation to the coolant leak, dunno. The heat also works occasionally. The window (driver side) slides forward and back. It has a broken or disconnected arm. The motor is new and the window goes up and down. The interior controls are also damaged as seen in the pic. It is only the housing the electronics work fine. The door pops when opened and closed. It does open and close fine just pops. The passenger side motor works, but needs a new window motor very soon. The housing around the radio has paint or plastic chippings (see picc)The swing out cup holder on the passenger side is cracked (the plastic), but it will still hold a cup.The front end has several scrapes from curbs (see pic). One of the front rims is damaged, as seen in the picture. The engine leaks oil and coolant at a rapid pace. The exhaust is starting to blow white smoke irregularly. The engine light came on a week ago with a bad oxygen sensor (after converter) which is the time the smoke started. I assume this is the reason, but I do not plan on checking. It could also very well be a blown head gasket. At 150000 miles the driver side head was replaced. At that point passenger head had correct compression. I received an engine code reading "cylinder 6 misfire" but I could never resolve the issue. The MAF sensor was cleaned, plugs/wires changed, and coil 6 changed. However, the misfire code still randomly sets off the engine light. Recent engine light codes: cylinder 6 misfire, small evap leak, low oil, oxygen sensor bad (after cat converter that isn't there)...The front end has several scrapes from curbs (see pic). The transmission is starting to slip at hwy speeds (going in to the final gear OD)The rear end whines, but drive well. The interior is in ok condition. There are no noticeable tears in the fabric but there is severe discoloration. As stated above, the random smoke that started a week ago does not affect the cars ability to drive (reason i assume o2 sensor and lacking converter is issue rather than gasket), but I would be surprised if it caught a cops attention on the interstate if it were to start smoking. If you have a long drive to get to your destination I would not recommend this vehicle without have a mechanic or someone with knowledge ok the vehicle unless you were hauling it on a trailer. That being said, I do drive this vehicle 20 miles a day, to commute to work. I have tried my best to describe all the vehicle's issues. Keep in mind it is a 1999 model. Feel free to email me any questions ( i will respond asap). I will take more pictures if requested. I will also try my best to arrange time if anyone needs to check on the vehicle prior to purchase. CASH only and please be sure you are prepared to purchase if you bid!
