1987 Porsche 944 S in great mechanical condition. 5 speed manual with black exterior on black leather interior. Low mileage for model year and entirely original equipment. Original paint, leather, and upholstery in very good condition with no fading or wear. Pennsylvania classic car registration and tags. "S" model performance features: 188 horsepower, 170 ft lb torque, dual overhead cam 16 valve ("16 Ventiler") 2.5 liter four cylinder. 5 speed manual transmission. Four wheel power disc brakes. Power-assisted rack and pinion steering. Suspension includes front independent coil/shock absorber struts and sway bars, rear independent diagonal arms with torsion/sway bars. Porsche telephone dial wheels, 7X16 front and 8X16 rear. Amenities: Leather seats, steering wheel, and shift knob. Power drivers seat, windows, mirrors, locks, and sunroof. Original Blaupunkt Reno stereo system. Security system has been uninstalled. Great mechanical condition. Entire drivetrain, exhaust, brake system, and suspension runs and sounds great. Recent service in January included new auxiliary shaft roller, timing and balance shaft tension service, new spark plugs, brake fluid flush, and steering fluid flush. New Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 tires mounted and four wheel aligned in January - 205/55R16 front and 225/50R16 rear. PA inspected through the end of April. Includes Porsche original equipment owner's manual, tool kit, sunroof storage bag, spare steel wheel & tire, and electric powered spare tire air pump. Some typical 944 deficiencies present on this car: Crack in the dash, has not separated - see photo. Sunroof is watertight and electric motor runs, but does not open. Brake sensor light is on, though car brakes firmly with no pulsing. Turn signal does not release after turn. Reserve is low given the overall condition of this all original equipment 944 S.
