HISTORY: 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2, Original "A" Code, Automatic that lead a life as a normal street driven car. In the '99 time frame the car began seeing street/strip time in relatively stock form. As time went on the car became more modified and faster. In '03 the car was taken to the next level with suspension modification and better race parts. Today we have what you see here in this auction listing, a car built to run Street Class True 10.5 Tire. The engine is fresh with no track passes, No NOS usage on new motor. The new C4 has less than 50 miles on it. The rear tires have a lot of tread left. The car runs on C-12 gas. This is an 8 sec 1/4mile capable car.... it’s not something for a beginning racer with limited track time. A 300 hp two stage shot with the plate system should do just fine. So you run a low 9 instead of a high 8. It’s still all there. You feel like adding more juice, go for it. Being in Florida, we replaced the stock radiator with an aluminum one. This is a street legal car. I will say with the high compression and the 112 gas, it always attracts a crowd. The car just looks plain bad to the bone sitting still. The paint was done about 2 years ago and has always been inside storage under a car cover so it is still in very good shape. The car is lasar straight, with perfect floor boards. In one of the photos is when we had the car bead blasted to see what was under the rust proofing. The interior is in the original red and in good clean shape. All glass in good shape except for a rock chip in the windshield that has been repaired. I also purchased the GT350 side scoops. They are painted, but have not been installed on the car yet.
