Up for auction is my beautiful 1966 Candy Apple Red 289 / 225 HP A-Code Fastback with Deluxe Black Pony Interior, including Wood trim and correct Steering Wheel, a C4 Automatic, Center Console, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes with dual circuit master cylinder, Factory Air Conditioner converted to R134, AM/FM Radio. The Wheels are the 1965 Styled Steel with the full chrome rim (to be correct for 1966 the wheel rim would be painted and chrome trim rings were added, but most people prefer the 1965 style). This car has a 1 inch Shelby sway bar, Monte Carlo Bar, Cobra Dress-up Kit, Pertronics Ignitor 3 ignition and coil. Detailed Undercarriage and rear end, New correct dual exhaust system, Correct intake and carburetor, Factory stampings on the inner fenders, fenders, and lower rockers. I purchased this car from the noted dealer Fraser Dante in October of 2008 and added the factory Air Conditioner along with an oversize radiator and factory correct clutch fan and shroud for proper cooling, and a Ford Power Brake booster. I have used this car as my primary transportation for the last year and it drives more like a contemporary car than one that was built 45 years ago. This car was chosen as the January car for Mustang & Fords 2007 Calendar. This car is a step above any of the cars I have seen on Ebay. IT HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED WITH HEADERS OR AN AFTER MARKET INTAKE AND CARBURETOR! Any deviation from stock is for drivability or safety purposes. It is not trying to be a Shelby or a Phony GT it is a very nice original California 4 barrel 66 2+2 Mustang. This car is 45 years old and it is not perfect, there are paint chips and scratches and usual wear and tear but it drives and shows well. Please look at the pictures because there are no refunds. The car can be inspected before the end of the auction. A Non-Refundable deposit of $2000 by Pay Pal must be made within 48 hours of successful bid and the balance is due within 5 days of end of auction. The only acceptable forms of payment will be cash in person, or wire transfer with three day hold. Buyer must arrange shipping but I will accommodate shipping schedule up to 3 weeks and will be available to hand the car to the shipper.
