Very rare true barn find. Truck was bought new in Whiteville N.C and had the same owner untill last year I bought it. Truck was parked in the barn in 1973 after the owner passed away and I purchased from his grandson last year Will start and run ( I ran on an gas can with line to fuel pump) Transmission goes in and truck will move fine. Brakes dont work. This truck has the hydromatic transmission, 248 six with the Zenith carb and 3 inch head pipe ( check it out) Interior package with radio and heat ,cig lighter Ignition start, never a floor start installed Exterior chrome package and is all there but the hood ornament. Truck has factory hitch and backup lights I took off the front end just to check for rust and to get it running. It is all there with bolts. truck has surface rust but not bad, door bottoms need replace I have them ( Doors are tight and fit perfect) tailgate is bad and bed wood need replaced. look at the floors and beind the fenders (no rust) Do some checking, this is a very rare truck and worth a restore!On Mar-23-11 at 17:31:48 PDT, seller added the following information: EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT ALL THE RUSTED SPOTS IN THE PICS. THIS WAS A VERY WELL EQUIPT TRUCK FOR 1954
