If you're into collectible Impalas then this is the one for you. It is in immaculate condition with over 20,000 in restoration. The engine and transmission are all original but as you can see in the photographs the rest of the car has been completely re-conditioned with all original materials and not one single knob, switch, or dial is missing. You will be hard-pressed to find another in such cherry shape. It comes with a factory 283 small block V-8 and I have added the optional continental kit and factory fenders. This vehicle was originally from Oklahoma, but was found in Texas where it had been stored since 1989.When purchased, it was in original un-restored condition and required only minimal mechanical repairs to get it in dependable driving condition. This car is 100% rust free and has all it’s original floor and trunk pans with no repairs required! It was actually driven for two summers before the extensive restoration process was started. The car received a complete body on restoration and required absolutely NO BONDO. The front clip, motor & trans, windshield, complete interior and all exterior trim were removed and the car received a complete overall paint job. The engine and engine compartment were extensively detailed, including new rubber, under hood insulation, battery tray and hold down bolts. The 20,000.00 some spent in this restoration include but is not limited to the following: Exterior: New paint, Tropical Turquoise Interior: Aegean Turquoise Complete new interior from head liner to carpet, this includes: Headliner, visors, kick panels & vents, firewall insulation pad, glove box w/tire pressure sticker, dome light lenses, gauge bezels, emergency brake pad & handle, all interior and exterior rubber including window felts and weather stripping. The exterior received a continental kit, fender skirts with stainless scuff pads, dual whip antennas, all new weather stripping, tail lamp bezel and lens seals, mounting hardware. Also added two new exterior side-view mirrors. I have all the receipts to confirm these repairs and you can have them all if you so choose. The car is in excellent shape and the only short coming known are that the clock, fuel gauge, and speedometer are not working at this time. These are indeed minor items to what is otherwise an incredible car and awesome find in this condition and with this mileage!One last thing...
