This car was purchased new in late 2002 by a female dentist in Cincinnati Ohio. At 14,000 miles she was in a front end collision that damaged the front hood bumper and grill. The insurance company totaled the car [ why I don't know] I purchased it from them in 2004. The car has side and front air bags. The accident was so light that the air bags did not deploy. I drove the car home replaced the hood, grill and bumper, painted them and my wife has been driving it until now. The car has a Tennessee rebuilt title and 39,000 miles. This car has all the options, bose supreme sound system with 6 player cd changer in the trunk, Anti slip rear end with a switch to control for wet or dry driving, and of course air,ps,pb, power seat,heated seats,and leather interior. The transmission is automatic but you can shift manually by using the manual switch. Telescoping steering wheel. The hard top convertible goes up and down from inside the car without a hitch. The car has always been driven by a non smoking female with service done every 3000 miles using only Mobil 1 syn oil. It has been garaged for as long as we have owned it. This Mercedes has a 4 cylinder engine with a turbo. That is the best of both worlds. It gets well over 30 mpg and unbelievable power. The spare has never been used and the tool kit is still in the trunk. The paint has a few dings and scratches from normal wear. Still very shinny but has flaws when examined up close. This car is very fun to drive and handles like new. The only problems are the remote automatic door lock quit working about a year ago, and a dash light which indicates that the passenger seat weight switch is defective came on about a month ago.. The switch detects when a baby carrier is in the front seat and turns off the air bag. The Mercedes dealer that serviced the car last month did not have time to fix it. The automatic door lock does not work but the doors unlock with the key. Tires were changed recently and have lots of tread. I would like a $200 deposit by pay pal 2 days after close of auction. The balance to be paid with in 7 days or cash at time of pick up. Any other payment will be OK but all funds will have to clear the bank before pick up.
