240 lovers this is your chance to own (once again) one of the best models Volvo ever produced. Up until three weeks ago she spent her entire life 45 Minutes NE of Sacramento California and has been loved by the original owner (family whom are now in their eighties and married 63 yrs). This 240 is the proverbial garage queen and is truly in showroom condition both on the outside as well as the inside, in fact I don't think you can really appreciate just how well preserved this car is until you're looking at it in person. All original paint, (rare color - code 410 - light blue metallic) that shines like new, yes, including the hood, trunk and roof ( zero fading or crazing). In addition there are no dings or dents or scratches anywhere. She has 4 brand new Michelin tires, complete Volvo service records and ALL service/maintenance is up to date so unless you're adding your favorite accessories you won't need to spend a dime on this 240 (suffice to say I wouldn't hesitate to jump back behind the wheel and drive it back cross country -yep I drove her home). Headlights are original and crystal clear. The turn signal lenses and the tail lights are also original and as bright and shinny as they were new! The bright work, body side moldings, grille and the balance of the exterior trim are all mint! As well, the window squeegees, door, trunk, and hood weather seals are all still soft and plump (not laying flat and dried out) . All glass is original and perfect. Engine compartment is spotless! The blue cloth interior is pristine in every respect. the original dash board has NO DASH CRACKS. Interior fabric shows no rips, tears. there are no missing or broken pieces, fact is there isn't any noticeable wear of any sort throughout the cabin. Non-smokers! No odors, no stains. Head liner is bright white and perfect (visors included). All power equipment works as new A/C heater just like new. Blower motor/fan is perfect, all dash/accessory switches/indicator lights illuminate as they should. Seat heaters still get toasty, lumbar support (both seats) work as new, seat foam is firm and like new in both seats, back seat is as new. Trunk compartment looks brand new. Original spare tire and tool kit have never been used. All original keys, books. including original purchase receipt, records and the like are present and of course included. We love the prospect of owning cars without making payments but the simple fact is we don't have a use for a 5th car so we would like to see her go to someone else who will appreciate and hopefully a 'home' that will take care of her the way she's been taken care of for the last 21 years.
