Vehicle Detail

Check it out I have a REAL 1995 Impala SS with about 150,300 miles(thats less than 10,000 miles per year) The total production run in 1995 was 21,434 cars built 9,858 were Black it has a rebuilt transmission (about 2 years old) a pioneer cd player(owners manual included) with an Alpine amp on a 12 inch sub I will give you the original radio too.I put a new fuel pump and filter on it last year. The rear windows are off the track which is a typical problem with this type of Chevy. The carpet is dirty and there is a rip in the drivers seat and rear seat. The odometer numbers sometimes change to some crazy numbers but always come back to the correct mileage I've taken it to my mechanic twice and both times the numbers never changed so he couldn't fix what wasn't broken he didn't seem to concerned about it but it is unsettling to see the numbers change from 150,300 to 215,322 at the blink of an eye.I have plenty of pics. so just ask . I put a new radiator and thermostat in April 2008. the chrome is peeling off the 20 " rims but the Goodyear tires are like new. cell#1 six30 4six5 2773 Aaron. Manufacturers risk a lot when resurrecting a fabled nameplate. Yet, after a 25-year hiatus, Chevrolet brought the Impala SS name back to the marketplace in '94. Introduced at the 1993 Detroit auto show, the new SS was essentially a Caprice LTZ with an exterior dress-up package and a Corvette-based iron-headed 5.7-liter/260-horse LT1 V-8. In a 1994 Motor Trend road test, the reborn Impala hustled to 60 mph in only 7.1 seconds. Large brakes and attractive 17-inch rolling stock helped stop it from the same speed in just 120 feet. Like any full-size American sedan, the Impala SS was loaded with creature comforts, including leather upholstery, power everything, and air-conditioning. Mechanically, the SS used heavy-duty suspension bits from Caprice police cars, while Onyx Black paint and a rear-deck spoiler imparted a bad-boy image. Inside, the taxicab-like column shifter remained to hold down costs, but the SS was a clear indicator that performance was still alive inside the General. For '95, Chevrolet offered the SS in two more colors: Dark Cherry and Dark Gray Green. A total of 69,678 Impalas were made between(1994-1996), so finding one isn't exactly a needle-in-a-haystack experience. As with any musclecar, low miles, originality, and condition are the most important factors. The SS has a lot going for it: In spite of its humble taxi/cop-car underpinnings, it performs well for its size. It'll hold a ton of people and stuff,The original MSRP was $23,210 and it's probably depreciated about as much as it's going to. All in, the '94-96 Impala SS is lot of modern-day musclecar for the money.
