.Work done by present owner 1. Rebuilt brakes, replaced two of the aluminum. alloy wheels 2. Replaced front McPhearson struts 3. Replaced rear McPhearason struts but with stiffer springs so the rear load capability has been increased by 800 lbs. 4. Replaced trunk bottom with a deeper square box welded in to increase cargo volume. 5. Welded heavy sheet metal over the opening between the passengers and trunk to seperate trunk from the passenger space. 6. Mounted 4 new Goodyear tires 7. Fabricated heavy towing lugs run back to heavy structure so vehicle can easily be towed by a motor home. 8. Acquired an electric power steering pump which is available for $75 if the car buyer want the car to continue its conversion to EV 9. Replaced radio/casette player. 10. Replaced Power Steering Pump Present Condition: Car was purchased from a Flint Michigan seller in the spring of 2008. l. Runs well. This car was originally intended to be converted to be an EV and the work done on it had that in mind, but the need to provide personal care to my wife has cancelled my conversion plans. The car has been driven about 500 miles in the nearly 3 years I have owned it.. The EV design was planned to use 15 eight volt batteries of standard golf cart sizes. 2.
