Up for auction is a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5 S My wife has driven this car daily for the past 7 years to her office which is an 80 mile roundtrip commute. This car has been maintained and serviced by dealer specifications since we purchased it in 2004. It has been very reliable and has averaged 31 mpg on the highway. Fully synthetic oil has been used since day one. Here is a list of NEW items that have been installed in the past year and a half: 1. NEW Catalytic converter 2. NEW Exhaust resonator 3. NEW Throttle body 4. NEW Alternator 5. NEW Battery 6. NEW Coil packs (at 100k servicing) 7. NEW Cam positioning sensor 8. NEW Crank positioning sensor 9. NEW Serpentine belt 10. NEW NGK Spark plugs Two tires have 90% tread remaining and the other two have 60% remaining. Now for the concerned part: The car will not start. My wife filled the gas tank and drove 40 miles from her office to our home and parked the car. It was running fine. The next day it would not start. This has never occurred before. I check her oil and fluid levels weekly because of her commute. There is no oil or water consumption with the engine. The engine is initiating start-up but will not completely start. It is receiving spark and gas. Due to physical impairment and constraints on my time and money, I am not able to work on the car.
