1986 Porsche 944 Turbo- Great condition There were only about 25,000 944 turbos ever made. This is a collector item and parts are extremely accessible. My mechanic told me when I bought the car the engine isn’t even broken in until you hit 150,000 miles and then Porsche aficionados pull the car off the road and put it on the track. Over the past ten years I have $25,000 in receipts for the car. Turbo itself was pulled about 75,000 miles ago and rebuilt. Over the past 10 years shocks upgraded , ball joints, steering system, brake rotors, bearings, seals on engine, water pump and belts done about 10,000 miles ago. Computers have also been rebuilt in the past 5000 miles. Original Fuschs rims worth $1000 alone. This car has been a labor of love. I can’t tell you how many hours have been put into it. Few issues- Sunroof and rear wiper on hatch not working. Clock on dashboard not working. Leather on front seats replaced 2 years ago and the driver’s side has a bit of wear through on the leather on the edge of the seat. Sunroof has always had a minor leak over the passenger side rear so the carpet in the passenger side rear is not in very good condition. Sunroof seals have been replaced both inner and outer. Fog light is cracked. Some touch up paint on fender. Those are the issues. It’s a great car at 217 HP and tops out at about 155 MPH. If you have questions about the car call me at 617-680-7063.
