Selling my 1988 Volvo Bertone, a true classic. I am the second owner of this vehicle, and my uncle was the original owner. The car has extremely low mileage for it's age, and still runs great! It has been kept in a garage and passed MD inspection and emissions, and is currently up to code. I am truly sad to sell it, as I love this car... but the wife and I have decided to downsize and become a one car household. My loss is your gain though! This car would be great for any Volvo collector, and would not require too much work to restore to it's former glory. I have all of the service records and will pass them along to you, along with the original owner's manual. I'm new at eBay motors, so forgive me if I have not included anything. Please email or call if you have any questions! I hope to find my baby a good new home. Still Functions:The stereo, tape deck, EQ, and speakers work, and frankly sound pretty awesome! I even have the original tape deck cleaning kit that came with the car.The seat warmers work, although the passenger side works a lot better than the driver's sideThe electric side mirrors both work. The passenger side mirror is missing it's plastic rim, though.The power windows work fine.The power sunroof works fine, although the seal is not great so when it rains hard you do occasionally get some leakage.The electric driver's side seat controls work, although every now and then they randomly stop working. I think this is a minor electrical issue.The engine starts up without any difficulty and does not run too hot.The automatic transmission shifts easily and really feels good when you drive.The headlights, turn signals, and horn work fine.Things that need to be fixed:The electric passenger's side seat controls do not work today, although some days they decide to work. Again, this seems to be a minor electrical shortThe "Anti-lock" light on the dash is permanently stuck on. There is nothing wrong with the anti-lock brakes! I have had it checked multiple times. It is an electrical issue with the light.The leather interior is not in great shape. The leather around the windows has cracked and darkened, and the seats have a number of rips. This is probably the worst issue on the car.The HVAC system is not working. This is another electrical issue, I believe, as once every blue moon the fans come on.The antennae is bent.The trunk does not stay open by itself... you have to hold it open with one hand.The interior lining on the ceiling has come loose. I have just tacked it up.The center rear brake light has come loose from the rear window.There is minor body damage above the rear right wheel well and right bumper. There are also plenty of little dings and scratches. Please see the photos.The driver's side and passenger side seats are missing their small plastic covers (see photos). I still have the covers, though, they just need to be re-attached.Buyer must pick up from Chevy Chase, MD. I will accept cash, cashier's check, or Paypal. It is pretty obvious if you look at the report, but the Motor Vehicle Administration entered the wrong odometer reading when I transferred the title to MD. The current odometer reading IS correct.
