Up for auction is an all original 1986 GSXR 1100 with low miles. 20166 miles currently, but mileage may vary slightly as I ride it once a week. Here is your chance to buy a machine that will increase in value. Very hard to find a first production year GSX-R that has been left untouched. Ultra rare. The first real street legal endurance racer. This bike is all original and is in great condition. The tank and seat are flawless. The fairing is the original one and does show some light scratches on the lower sides from tipping over in the previous owners garage. There's a few scratches in the paint here and there, but for an original 1986 machine, it is very clean. The exhaust is all original as well. The bike runs great. It needs nothing. Everything works. It has good power even compared with modern sportbikes. It is very light. It starts up right away, shifts smoothly through all gears. The bike shows normal wear and tear for a 25 year old motorcycle. You could easily turn it into a showpiece with a good detail job and a coat of paint for the fairing. I left it alone as the bike looks great as is, and they are original only once. I am selling it as I have purchased another motorcycle with an upright riding position which suits my aging back a lot better. I purchased this Suzuki from the original, mature owner in December of 2010. I am an older mature rider that does not abuse machinery. I have a clear title for the bike in my name. It is currently registered in California. Tags are good till August 2011. The bike comes with both original keys, owners manual, factory workshop manual and the part to transform the bike to solo seat configuration. The original rear stand that came with the bike is also included in the sale, but not pictured. The buyer is responsible for paying and arranging everything related to shipping. I will not release the bike until all funds have cleared in my account.
