This a beautiful truck that I hate to sell. It is a 1982 Ford F-150 with the XLT and Lariat packages. It has been very well taken care of and it shows. This truck is 99% original, the only things not original are the fluids and the battery. The exterior of the truck in my opinion has the best color combination available at the time. I love the two-tone black and silver. It also has a dual red pinstripe separating the black and silver. All of the trim on the truck is in very good condition. The front bumper has some minor scratches, but no dents or dings and the shine is great. The rear bumper is in the same condition. The wheels are in great condition as well. There are some minor scratches, rock chips and two dings on the entire exterior of the truck. There are approximately 12 very small drops of red paint on the driverside exterior bed. I would think someone experienced with paint would have a way of removing these. The truck is a long bed. The interior of the bed does show signs of wear, such as scrapes and scratches but no major dents.(It is a truck and was used as a truck.) The bed has the factory bed rails with all the tie down brackets intact and working. The bed rails are in very good condition and the chrome shines brilliantly. I believe the tires are the original tires. If not they are the exact tires that this truck came from the factory with. All of the glass is in excellent condition including the windshield with the manufacturing plant sticker still in place. The interior of the truck is near perfect. The only reason I say near is because of a small 3" separation on the drivers seat. That is THE only thing that is wrong with the interior. The interior is black with wood trim. It has an AM/FM cassette player, tilt steering, a/c, cruise control, manual windows and locks, clock and a bench seat. The truck has a 302 with automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive. All belts, hoses, clamps, spark plug wires, transmission lines are original. The truck runs and drives like new. The A/C has been converted to R134 and i believe it may need a recharge because the a/c compressor clutch short cycles. The one thing that does not perform as designed is the rear tank. Some times the truck cuts out when using the rear tank. It may be a clogged line or a short, I don't know. I just don't use it too often. I believe the underhood retractable light was added later and is a nice option. The tailpipe has some separation at the last bend. I know this is minor but I want to try and describe every negative detail. This truck has always been owned by the same family and always kept in a heated garage. I think this is obvious due to the great condition of the truck. Again, I hate to sell this truck and I am already regretting getting rid of it as I am writing this. But with the economy the way it is I am forced to sell. This is a rare opportunity to own a near new truck that is 29 years old and a very nice looking one at that. I have been watching other similar trucks sell here on E-bay and I know without a doubt there has been NOT been an original one that compares to this one. A vehicle is only original once, after painting or restoring an old beat up one it is no longer original and would cost a great deal of money to restore. I thought about wet sanding and buffing the truck but I wanted to keep the original factory paint the way it was when it came off the assembly line. I don't think 24 pictures are enough to show the quality of this truck.
