Vehicle Detail

Beautiful low mileage White XJS V12 Convertible with Tan interior, Black top and Dayton Wire Wheels. Stored in a climate controlled garage for the past 10+ years. The car features a new top and headliner, new tires, and fresh detailing. This is an absolutely rust free car with excellent paint, chrome, and glass. The tan leather interior with heated seats has the appropriate wear for the mileage and age with some checking but no rips or tears. The carpet is in excellent condition. There are some fine cracks in the veneer by the automatic transmission shift lever, but it still maintains a lustrous finish. There is one piece of carpet missing inside the storage compartment behind the seats that was removed because of a spill causing a stain (a Merlot I believe) that was never replaced. This Jaguar runs and drives very well and is an enjoyable and comfortable car to drive. Recent maintenance includes a new transmission mount (a common problem with the XJS), transmission fluid and filter, oil change, and generally going through the entire car to insure everything is in good working order. The AC has been converted to R134 but seems to need to be topped off each spring. It is after all a Jaguar.. The ABS Brakes work very well with no ABS problem indicator lamp coming on (another common problem). The odometer on this car was replaced in the late 90's by the dealer when it failed. Included with the tool kit and pouch are the manual and service records including the documents detailing this along with the official replacement certification placed in the door jamb. The original miles on this car are roughly 52000 which can be seen in the service records and by the condition of the car. I welcome any questions and appreciate you looking! On Mar-15-11 at 16:50:54 PDT, seller added the following information:I had someone ask about the history of the car, so here is some more info. I bought it in 98 and it has been maintained and stored in a climate controlled facility. I rarely drove the car, maybe a 1000 miles in the first 3 years or so, it was just one of those cars I always wanted. I think the only things I did was new tires, and replaced the front shock bushings. I replaced the sway bar bushings because I thought they were making the "thumping" noise that was caused by the shock bushings. Carfax or similar shows a title transfer about 18 months ago which was a transfer within the family. We are selling it because we are downsizing homes and losing 6+ cars of storage space. I sold my 57 T-Bird yesterday on ebay and didn't sell my 74 Rolls. So if you search completed listings you'll see I am selling these cars to thin out the herd in the stable, so to speak (I always wanted to say that, sounds exotic). This is a great car with no issues. It is in better condition than when I bought it in 98, with maybe 5000 more miles on it, for less than half the price. Tuck this one away in your collection,or start your collection, this one is worth keeping, and it is a gorgeous, fun car to enjoy. Go ahead, you won't be sorry.
