Vehicle Detail

**2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6 **w/T56 6 speed transmission**18k actual miles** Final production year for the Pontiac Trans Am 6 speed. I’m listing this car for a friend of mine but can answer most any question you may have. The car and title are in my possession and anyone interested is encouraged to come and inspect the car prior to bidding. My friend purchased this car Dec. 2004 with 6k miles on it and the previous owner had loaded it with modifications. When purchased in 2004 it had a Vortech blower on the stock motor. Never being happy with the power he has..the owner sent the car to a performance shop and had the blower motor pulled and was planning to build another motor and upgrade to a larger blower. Life a family took precedence and the project sat idle for about 3 years until he just decided to stay simple and have a naturally aspirated motor built for the car. OPTIONS- Factory WS6 package Trans Am Ram Air hood 17 inch polished WS6 wheels Power antenna Leather interior Power windows Power door locks Remote keyless entry Driver 6 way power seat Monsoon Series AM/FM CD player T-tops with liners Traction control INTERIOR- Factory original leather interior in excellent condition and still smells new. Factory floor mats still in place. Original Hurst shifter replaced with a Pro 5.0 shifter. EXTERIOR- Original paint still shows very well. No evidence of any paint work. Small rock chip on the hood has been touched up. DRIVETRAIN- LS1 motor with T56 6 speed transmission. Original wheels still shine great and have no bends or curb rash. Rear tires are Mickey Thompson ET Streets with over half tread. Front tires are Pirelli P-Zero with approx. 3/4 tread left. All tires are 275/40 17. MODIFICATIONS- LS1 motor specs are- Stock block with milled 853 heads- Competition 226/230 XE Cam- Competition 918 valve springs- Competition 7.4 inch Chromoly push rods- SLP underdrive pulley. Tuned for speed density. Pacesetter long tube headers McCloud clutch and flywheel MTI 85mm intake lid Borla 3 inch stainless exhaust with quad tips Off-road mid pipe T-Rex fuel pump Pro 5.0 shifter Corvette C5 front brakes 12 bolt GM rear differential Aluminum differential cover with girdle Aftermarket Panhard rod Aftermarket rear lower control arms Weld in sub frame connectors KNOWN ISSUES- Left front interior door panel is cracked (same place all the door panels crack) Driver window is not tinted Air bag light on the dash is on Needs alignment / Steering wheel is off center when going straight Power seat switch sometimes doesn’t work Off Road mid pipe means NO catalytic convertors Left rear axle seal appears to be seeping Battery is a little weak..needs a boost if it sits for a couple weeks OTHER- Car runs and drives good but does need some attention. Feels allot stronger than stock LS1 cars that I’ve driven. Feel free to ask questions and if I don’t know the answer I’ll try my best to find the answer. I’m a Mustang guy, and I like my cars mostly stock, so some of the mods. don’t make allot of sense to me. The Borla exhaust sounds great but this car is loud with the off road mid pipe. Car is paid for and is not a must sell. My friend just has no time to enjoy it and would rather cash out than see it sitting in his garage. This is the last true sports/performance car that Pontiac made and will surely be a collectable in years to come. NADA average retail shows $17400 and KBB shows $15370..Reserve is well below both of those. TERMS OF SALE- Car is being sold AS IS WHERE IS with NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Winning bidder responsible for sending a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $500 within 3 days of auction end. Balance due within 10 days of auction end. Cash money or a wire transfer only. Please remember you are bidding to buy and not to look at and make an offer. On Mar-09-11 at 11:23:04 PST, seller added the following information:I keep getting the same questions so here are allot of the answers. ***I replaced the battery today so it is new*** The rear end ratio appears to be in the mid 3 range..3.42-3.55 but not a 3.73 or lower***Limited slip rear..if it has a locker then it has great street manners. It does not try to lock during normal driving.***Coil springs appear to be stock based on looking at them, the ride height and the way the car rides..I'm 99.9 percent sure they are stock springs.***All the original manuals, warranty book and case are included. NO original window sticker**Feel free to ask any questions**On Mar-11-11 at 13:51:51 PST, seller added the following information:Popular question****Unknown if the original block is in the car. Assume not..If anyone can tell me where to find the numbers on the block I'll be happy to check and let you know. Sorry if this confused anyone*****
