This is a 1982 GL1100 Aspencade. It is in very good condition for its age! It runs and drives like a dream. I bought it from a motorcycle mechanic a few weeks ago to ride back and forth to work(88 mile commute). I rode it to work twice and realized that it is too cold here in the mountains at night to ride a motorcycle. So my loss is your gain. I put a brand new windshield on it and it looks and works great. I got 40mpg going to work and back at 70mph. The head light is a 9" and is one of the brightest headlights I have ever seen! It passed emmission testing just before I bought it in Phoenix. It does not smoke knock or anything! The mechanic I bought it from tuned it up and adjusted the valves right before I bought it (about 200 miles ago). This thing is ready to go, come and ride it home you will be in love by the time you get there. Now for the bad. It has a couple of small irratating things. The front brakes squeal. The mechanic said they are new pads. The tach cable may be going out, it is making a whyning noise. There is a crack in the bottom of the left saddle bag. This is a strong bike and if you do not know about these drive trains they will easily run too 200k. So there is alot of good riding still left in her. I will need a deposit through paypal of $200.00. This is due within 24 hours after the auction ends. The remaining balance must be paid in full within seven days after the auction ends. I will deliver this bike up too 200 miles from my home for .50 per mile. Other than that the buyer is responsible for shipping!
